Mutualism
Mutualism is A symbiotic relationship between individuals of different species in which both individuals benefit from the association. Oxpeckers and the Rhinoceros is an example of mutualism. The oxpecker gets the ticks that are on the rhinoceros as its food. The oxpeckers also warn the Rhinoceros of any danger that may be lurking.
Commensalism
Commensalism is a form of symbiosis between two organisms of different species in which one of them benefits from the association whereas the other is largely unaffected or not significantly harmed or benefiting from the relationship. Many of the animals that feed on grass will have birds follow them. There is no real benefit to the grazing animal however the birds get well fed by eating all the bugs.
Parastism
A form of symbiosis in which one organism (called parasite) benefits at the expense of another organismusually of different species (called host). The association may also lead to the injury of the host. An example of parasitism is an tick on an elephant. Parasitism is when a parasite takes advantage of its host. In this situation, a tick is taking blood from an elephant.
Predator/Prey
A Predator Prey relationship is an interation between two organisms of unlike speciesin which one of them acts as predator that captures and feeds on the other organism that serves as the prey. An example of a predator prey relationship in the Savanna, is a llion and a gazell. A lion serves as the predator, and catches and feeds on the gazelle that serves as the prey.
